Failure is not an option
- Reflect on the human condition.
- Choose actions and activities that either result in personal betterment or at a minimum don’t harm others.
- Make it possible when faced with roadblocks
- Look for solutions and ways around, or at least compromises
- Consider what is ephemeral.
- Make changes that can last a lifetime.
- Make dreams a reality.
- TAKE RISKS, with no guaranteed success, and despite repercussions.
- Make decisions.
- ASK: what would I do if I weren’t worried about…
- Solve (your own) problems
- Be a solutions-oriented person
- Consider when a boundary is a necessity or a nuisance
- Find the path of least resistance.
- Embrace but learn from failure.
- Tell a really damn good story.
- Fail forward.
- Value the payoffs from personal efforts
- Understand the limits of “guarantees” (and when they’re just cheap).
- Earn the results of training and hard work.
- Believe that hard work pays off
- Visualize, acknowledge and respect success, in any form or size.
- Be a survivor.
