creative cooking

Forget the “heirloom tomato spiced pheasant cutlets with blackberry currant reduction”. Seriously who has time for that let alone knows where to actually buy pheasant. Just no. These recipes use ingredients that can be purchased at your local NORMAL supermarket.
Hell, you might even be able to get everything at the gas station.
This is “creative” cooking. Also known as “microwave gourmet”.

.01

apples, onions and bacon

1 apple, sliced
1 bad frozen vegetables (with onions)
bacon
1 tube Crescent Rolls

sauté bacon (wear pants). slice apple, add to bacon sauté. remove onions from bag, add to sauté; [use remaining vegetables for something useful].
stuff sauté into rolls. bake according to directions on tube.

.02

chicken rice ``casserole``

1 can wild rice soup
cheese
bacon

pour can into bowl. remove broth (cause really, whats the point).
top soup solids with cheese.
top cheese with bacon.
microwave.

.03

mexican eggs

boxed* egg whites
frozen peppers
spices
cheese

thaw peppers and spices in microwave (or if you’re feeling ambitious, stir fry them). drain excess liquid. add in eggs. microwave until almost cooked. stir to “scramble” then microwave again. add cheese. stir to melt.
